When adjust the tension, please press the arm to horizontal position first and then adjust the screw. If your monitor is light(for example, your monitor can stay at a lower postion and always pops up), please turn clockwise to reduce tension till your monitor can stay at any height. If your monitor is heavy(for example, your monitor always goes down), please turn counter-clockwise to increase tension till your monitor can freely stop at any position you adjust to.

ADJUST GAS SPRING TO HOLD YOUR MONITOR
Please adjust the gas spring to proper tension to hold your monitor. Before and while adjusting the gas spring control screw, please press/hold the arm to a horizontal position. Turn the screw clockwise("-")for lighter monitors and counter-clockwise("-") for heavier monitors.
